Yesterday a dear friend of mine gave me about 2 gallons of walnuts off her tree. I have done a bit of research and it looks like I have to lay them out flat in a warm place to dry? Then take off the outer green hull to expose the nut. I plan to hull and package these as possible gifts. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have never worked with walnuts b/f.
