Hello folks!
OK looks like we wont be able to move into our new house till next week. So the U-Haul rental will be for Friday May 1. We will move all the big stuff that day. If we get in this Mon. or Tues. we will just move small stuff in Joes truck till Friday. I am also hoping to empty the storage unit on the first since we will have the big truck.
I know Friday is a BAD day to move, since ya know people work and all. But we have no choice.
There was a leak in the ceiling that needed fixed, and the furnace needs some work. The furnace guy is coming today and he thinks he will have it done in one day. They can't patch my ceiling in the dining room till he is done. I would rather have all this fixed b/f I move in anyway.
So if anyone finds themselves available Friday May 1 to lend a strong arm we would be VERY VERY greatful. I will start loading the first round from the house early in the morning. I am picking up the truck as soon as the place opens.

Well I have seen that a ton of work has been done in the new house getting it ready for us. But, when the water was turned on they found a leak, and to fix it they tore a HUGE HOLE in my dining room ceiling!!!
It is going to delay any early move by a few days. So I am still not sure on the actual move date. Could be this weekend, could be a whirlwind, 24 hours to move all our stuff nightmare, or anywhere in between.
I do know our landlord is trying his hardest to get us in there ASAP. As soon as I know anything I will post. And THANK YOU to all the friends and family who have offered to help. We are so lucky to have such good friends!
