My Brother in Law Steve motivated me to make Jerky.  I think I should have about one metric ass ton of jerky for war.  I thought the electric knife was going to give out. Yummm. 
And I LOVE Alton Brown, and I have used his recipe for the jerky.  But the whole filter and a fan thing to dry it, is to Mcgiver for me.  So I am going with a type 1A dehydrator :) 
I will have plenty for all takers at war. And one more Alton Brown creation for the pub.........
