Well, I wish I could say I went for the glory and slept out in the -17 degree weather, alas I candy assed and ran for the inlaws for the night! At least I came back  the next morning.
I had a wonderful time, but I was just beat by the cold. It wins this year, but next year.....watch out.....
I wish I had stayed a bit longer, it looks like some realy great fun was had after I left. But I am also glad I got out when I did b/f I started to go from happy and optimistic to grumpy and whiny, I know when to cut my losses and save my friends the hassel of whiney Gen.
Next year I will keep my finger crossed (once they unfreeze) for warmer weather, and maybe then I can get the whole event in.
I never even made it over the hill to see all the cool stuff. I fail.
On the upside the twins fed me very well !!! And the Coopers bless them they are wonderful to us.
Here is hoping for more next time!

OK since we are down to one car for a while here is the new plan.....
And a shout out to my inlaws (LOVE THEM) they are loning us the focus for a bit so we don't have to rush on a descision.
Joe and I will leave Friday in the wee hours of the morning and meet up with S&S at the Mom in Laws. We will pick up the loner car and drop off the dog.
We will then go to the site.
Joe will have to leave Saturday afternoon to pick up the dog and then go to work.
I may stay till sunday morning/afternoon depends on the cold to fun ratio at that point. And how much work I have at home.
