Good news and Bad news

Bad news shoulder still not well. Had my second and final injection in my shoulder, after this it is the specialist.....and his sharp sharp knives. Since i DO NOT!!!!! want to be cut, I am actually going to follow the docs orders and not use do anything for 48 hours. That is the good news, kinda, No work till Thur. it means I will have to work Saturday to catch up, maybe even Sunday, but if it makes the pain and tingling stop, then fine.
On brighter note, I am having a good day all in all. seeing all those people at the doctors made me realize things could be worse and to stop feeling sorry for myself. So I bought some provisions (cookies) and am spending the next two days watching cartoons, and being thankful it is only two days down, and things can always be worse.
Heard from my friend in CA who just had a baby, sweet thing. I love little notes in the mail like that it just makes my day....week :) OK post long, typing with left hand annoying...going now.

In case anyone cares,
Joe will depart for site tomm afternoon. He will puruse and chat with
other early birds in the parking lot for a few hours untill...... I
arrive around 7 ish. I will spend about an hour wandering around, and
then I will grab Joe and Jump in the car and go take care of some busines. After which we will go back to the lot and get
a hardy drunk on!!!! I just don't know if I can help do set up with
out a hangover ;) I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!
I only wish the Tour de France ended sooner :)

DONE!
Here is the hard part for me.
I made my lists, and the lists for the list. I am packed, my sewing is done.
If someone said "lets go" I would be ready now.
here in lies the problem......I am so excited, and I have nothing to do but wait :(
3.5 days seems like forever.......
Upside, I get to do the whole shooting match start to finish.
Downside, my husband does not :( Damn computers.
I have once again carefuly scanned the classes and picked out a bunch I wanna do, if I make it to one, it will be better then most years. Top classes I am looking forward to: juggling and drop spindle. There is also a 3 hr beginers beading class I might go to.
Lost 25 pounds for this year *Woot* just off my goal of 30 so not to shabby.

Loverly Weekend

I spent the weekend of the 4th, with some of the most amazing people on the planet ( you know who yuns are) I am so grateful and blessed to have such wonderful friends and family.
I managed to get Joes spif new Wool cote done, and most of the in the key of D prizes.
I watched in awe as many gorgeous silk banners seemed to just appear over the span of the weekend. And I saw some wicked good fire works!
All in all a good time was had!!
NoW IT IS TIME TO PANIC !!!!!!!!!
18 DAYS!!!!!
I thing I may hyperventilate.

Pennsic Plans

I am planning a super laid back Pennsic this year!
Coffee Clach, clutch clitch whatever, but it is on.
giving free beer away......yup gonna do that.
run a 5 K .....wait... what... did I just list that?
naps.....snacks....naps....shopping....naps
And spending as much time possible spoiling and doting on my favorite toddler on the planet little miss CJ.

To Get Done for Pennsic.....not as relaxing:

Garb: 2 dresses, 2 cotes,2 shirts, 4 pantaloons, 5 pants and a partidge in a pear tree.

Music comp. awards: 5 in all need finished...as does a yak award for this year, cause ya know we're gonna need it!

Pack list from last year needs looked at and re-worked. Chocolate creamer econosize needs added :)

Court

OK, It was sort of a win in court today. Although the Circut Court Judge refused to make any ruling in regards to custody, telling me it will need to go back over to family court, she did kinda side with me.
The petition filed was in her words found to not have merit. Andrew denies most of the contents of the petition and therefore she has decided to send the case for ajudication.
Which in English means they can't prove any of it and it really has no leg to stand on. So they need to come back and prove the allegations. She also said some things about the alligations that I have been saying all along such as "they make no sense" I think she sees that it was mostly filed to delay the custody hearing. And that the whole thing is blown out of proportion. So another day in Circut Court, then back to Family court. I have no dates on either of them yet.
And....Gracie is very sick. She has not been able to keep anything down for 3 days now. It has me worried, and I think another trip to the vet is in her near future.

Lost 6 pounds this week. That is the 4 I put on during the move and two more lost for good measure *Woot*
On a more somber note, Gracies results came back and the mass is as we suspected to be, cancer. Not much to do now but wait and see if they got it all and hope it has not spread to the lungs. The Doctors seem to be positive for her future. We just need to keep a close eye on her for a while.
And great balls of fire it is impossible to keep stitches to stay on a dogs elbow! Holy Crow!

Out of surgery

OK Gracie is out of surgery, and doing well, she took the anastesia just fine. The pathology on the tumor will take 7-10 days to come back, I will keep you all posted. Her limping is due to the onset of hip displasia and artheritis, which is common in black labs (as is skin cancer). She will go on Flexerill and some kind of low dose pain reliever for the rest of her life. So all in all it could be worse. All I want to do is leave now and get my baby and cudle and baby her all night. hhmmmmm
On the up side it might be fun to see how Gracie acts on pain killers. She is going home with Tramodol tonight. I expect a wobbly woobly puppy.

My sweet dog Gracie is in for surgery this morning on a probable cancerous growth on her elbow. And to make matters worse she was so excited about going to the vet Tuesday that she slipped on the linolium and hurt her back leg. My sweet baby is all hobbly. Send us all your good thoughts for a speedy recovery for our girl. I am on pins and needles, I hope it all goes well, she has not been under sedation since she was spayed as a puppy.
It was so sweet Joe carried her up to bed last night b/c she was so uncomfortable. *sigh* my poor baby.
BTW- HAPPY BIRTHDAY WIZARDGLICK :)

War Practice

Well, it looks like I will only have 25 pounds off by war practice. I have had a rough couple of weeks what with the move and family things going on. I was hoping for 30 by now, but I will settle for 25, all my dresses need taken in. :)

I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT WAR PRACTICE!!!!
I can't wait to get away from life for a couple days, and just relax with my friends and family! So much to do to get ready, at least in the new house I have room for a staging area.
And I found a free Dishwasher on craigslist. *WOOT*

COFFE CLUTCH- Heads up my fellow coffee lovers. I am bringing coffee clutch supplies. Breakfasty type foods eggs and bacon, oatmeal etc. And that creamer J likes :) Come one come all I will wake yo ass up with some java lava! And tea for the other J ;)

I will not be arriving till Friday night b/c of work and family obligations. So I will roll in around 8ish friday night, just enough time to set up b/f dark. Can't wait to see you all there. And you all know who you all are :)
